Established in 2008, the Campus Advising Council plays an important role in IU Indianapolis’s efforts to promote student learning, success, and retention by proposing and prioritizing initiatives, policies, and procedures that impact student success through advising.
The Jaguar Academic Advising Association is a professional organization open to faculty members, administrators, counselors, academic advisors, career advisors, graduate students, and other members of the IU Indianapolis community with an interest in academic advising and student success.
The ADVNET listserv is the primary communication vehicle for academic advising across campus, allowing advisors to send and to receive valuable information and announcements to this community.
In spring 2013, the Campus Advising Council officially adopted these advising outcomes as an agreed-to minimum expectation of advising across IU Indianapolis's campus.
